In this chapter, you've seen how powerful the date and time controls are. RadCalendar provides a lot of functionality for displaying calendars in your applications and enables you to have input-like controls called pickers for date, time, and date/time values. The pickers are very easy to implement and use, and they minimize the HTML rendered for improved performance. You're also provided a rich API to work with them.
RadCalendar can be displayed using single-month and multiple-month views to meet the specific needs of your application and exposes a collection of special days, so you can define sets of days to have a particular behavior. You can also restrict which dates are allowed for events.
