8. Importing Audio and MIDI

You can import a variety of media directly into Pro Tools sessions, including audio, MIDI, and video files. In addition, you can import entire tracks from other sessions.

This chapter covers the main methods for importing audio, MIDI, and tracks into a session.

You can import audio into sessions from a wide range of sources, such as music, sound effects, or sample libraries.
