Deploying Your Application

Now that you've built the perfect LightSwitch application, the only thing left to do is to make it available to your users. Following all the tips and tricks you've learned in this book, your users will surely be impressed.

As you already know, you can use LightSwitch to create desktop or browser applications. These can be deployed in either two-tier or three-tier mode. You can even deploy to Windows Azure. This results in several distinct deployment scenarios, each requiring a unique set of tasks to be carried out.

Table 16-1 gives you an overview of the various deployment options. It highlights the tasks that would have to be performed in each scenario.
