The abortion conflict causes separation that damages human dignity, placing women having abortions in the crosshairs of enemy thinking. But this conflict isn’t the first in human history. There is a lot to be learned from past and current endeavors to inspire people to create connections and rise above hostility.

Hope is everywhere. By all accounts, humans have overcome some of their most divisive behaviors, improving the quality of life for most people around the world. In nearly every metric available to assess violence, economic indicators, and gender roles, studies show that we are living in a fundamentally better and more equal time in history.
