Using the ToggleSwitch, Rating and Tooltip Controls
In this chapter, I start to describe the WinJS UI controls in detail, using the framework app that I created in Chapter 10. These UI controls are important building blocks for creating apps which are consistent with the broader Windows visual theme and are worth studying in detail.
The mechanics of WinJS UI controls are similar to those of other JavaScript UI toolkits you may have used, such as jQuery UI. You apply a control to an element and additional elements, styles and event handlers are applied to create a rich visual effect.
