11IMPLEMENTING A PROJECT RISK MANAGEMENT PROGRAM SUCCESSFULLY

Until now, we have concentrated on applying project risk management to a single project. The presumption with most such techniques seems to be that if you apply them to one project, they will spread naturally to others. This presumption leads to the phenomenon known as “management fad of the month”: introducing a new improvement program regularly and expecting that it will instantaneously become established.
