Appendix G Sample project plan for process implementation

Table G.1 is a sample project plan that can be used when first designing and implementing a process. It can also be used as the basis for improving an existing process. Note that the start and end dates, projected duration and process roles (to the right across the top) are provided as typical examples, but will need to be adjusted and modified to the needs and culture of each IT organization. The numbers in the role columns represent an estimated number of hours to be spent on the task. Note also that some tasks have letters and numbers within square brackets.
