Introduction

The previous chapter tackled problems that are easy to solve. When PROC TABULATE gives you an error message, it’s usually not too hard to figure out the problem.
But sometimes you do not get an error message when something’s wrong. You run your code and there is no indication of trouble in the log, but when you look at the output table, it’s just plain wrong.
There are a number of common problems that can create incorrect output without generating an error message. This chapter addresses some of the more common problems and their solutions.
