Create Cell Percentages with the PCTN Statistic

Overview

In this example, we are building a table that shows the relationship between occupation and education. Cell percentages can be a handy tool to help you build an informative table. A cell percentage tells you what percentage of the observations in the entire table is represented in each table cell. This is a good way to see whether the data is distributed evenly between the categories of your row and column variables.
If too many observations are clustered in one cell of the table and other table cells are nearly empty, you might want to recalculate or reformat the row or column variables to achieve a more even distribution of observations. Otherwise, when you report a statistic like a ...
