Since Strategies for Real-Time System Specification was published in 1987, the Hatley/Pirbhai methods—which, as we mentioned in Chapter 1, should now be called the Hatley/Hruschka/Pirbhai methods, or H/H/P—have been put to diverse use worldwide. We and many others have spent years training people in the system development process and in applying the requirements and architecture methods within that process.
