Chapter 7. System Development Overview Using a Meta-Model
7.1. Introduction
In the preceding chapters, we have discussed the nature of systems, and we have shown how to use models to specify them. Also, we have shown that the development process and the models have similar structures: They are multilayered, and they can accommodate concurrent processes.
Most overview chapters simply summarize what has been said earlier. We take a different approach here, by using the architecture and requirements methods to model the system development process.
