Process Mapping I

Introduction

As preparation for process mapping, interviews are conducted with all parties who perform steps in, or are customers or suppliers to, the process being reviewed. In the previous chapters, we discussed the interview process and the information to be obtained during the interviews. Some of that information should include samples of all documents and data, regardless of medium, generated for or by the process. In this chapter, we discuss what to do with all of that documentation, starting with its review and ending with its addition to a documentation archive.
