6.2. Testing Approaches in UML-Based Projects
Testing approaches provide a background understanding of the various ways in which software is tested. This understanding helps to produce a comprehensive testing strategy for UML-based projects. Figure 6.2 describes the testing approaches that can be used to create testing strategies for any of the various types of projects of differing sizes. It should be noted that these testing approaches are not exclusive; it is not a question of choosing one approach over the other.
