The Actor

It helps the actors when the director is prepared. Oftentimes actors are looking to be reassured, to help them get where they need to be. It’s like being a parent. They want to please. They want to be stroked and told, “Yeah, you’ve done it.” So, I think by you being calm and understanding you can help take the actors where they need to be.
