Authors: How did you become an entertainment lawyer, Steve?

J. Stephen Sheppard: I always wanted to be in the entertainment business and I didn’t have any talent to do anything else. Seriously, I’m not a writer, I’m not a director, and I’m certainly not an actor. Publishing, television, movies, and theater always interested me. Law was the thing that I could do well to be in that world.
