The Development Team

One of the most important things to know as a producer is that no one person makes a game, it is a group effort made both technically and creatively by the team that you manage. To ensure that all parts work in harmony you must ensure that they all share the same vision, and that all the moving parts are on task, and on schedule. To do this you must know all aspects of the development team and the role its members play. Any console game developed requires each of these disciplines covered, and don’t consider these single-person roles either; larger jobs require multiple team members.
