Running a game is an all-consuming undertaking. Even the most organized, versatile, and responsible producer can find a single project draining their bandwidth both at work and in their personal time. As publishers struggle to try and make a profit during one of the most expensive generations of video game consoles to develop and publish for, staffs are diminishing in size, yet the scope, ambitions, and number of projects continue to grow.
