This section is about production:

Chapter 6 discusses how to choose the right kind of microphone, and how to deal with location acoustics. It’s slightly technical, but it’s definitely real-world. The concepts in this chapter are as important and necessary as pointing a light or focusing a lens. Get them right, and you’ve got a good chance of getting a great track.
