Formatting Reports

After planning, drafting, revising, and editing your report, you may feel confident that you have prepared an effective message. However, you must also consider how to package that product. An effective format will entice the receiver to read the report; lead the reader effortlessly through the information presented; maintain the reader’s interest; and, ideally, stimulate the reader to respond to the report as you had hoped.
