ABSOLUTE RIGOR

More than in any other realm of photography, the lighting and shooting of objects requires great precision, good working methods, and an excellent knowledge of the laws of optics.

If there is one field in which approximation is unacceptable, it is product photography. A faultless rendering is expected here, especially when we are dealing with manufactured items, using precise light metering and an exactitude to the nearest millimeter in the placement of reflections. Those who move too fast are condemning themselves to long hours of post-production digital editing.
