A Documentary Proposal

The difference between a documentary film and a feature film is generally clearly recognized. The two kinds of production can come together in the form of the drama documentary but as this usually is a dramatization of factual events, the basis of the script being dictated by history rather than imagination, this kind of production generally follows the same pattern of production as for a feature film or other drama production.

The documentary is a different type of production and, in its classic form, is intended literally to be a document of what happened in front of the camera.
