INTERLUDE: DIGITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT AT LAIKA

Laika’s feature films are developed entirely in house from script to final print (or DCP). The characters and sets are designed to be built by hand in our shops and the sequences and shots are digitally captured frame by frame on our stages before being delivered to our VFX team for additional elements and final compositing. We track the assets digitally from the first draft of the script through story, character and set design, onto the stage and into VFX.
