Getting Formulas of Visio SmartShapes Symbols and Pages
If you will remember, I told you that you would need a clear understanding of the ShapeSheet to exploit the power of an Automation controller application. This section is where we begin to put this statement into practice. When you have a reference to a SmartShape symbol in a Visio diagram, you can obtain any available type of information about any aspect of that symbol by accessing the Cells property and then the Formula property of that particular cell.
