I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Most teams adopting Team Foundation Server don't have the good fortune of starting from the very beginning with their applications. More than likely, there is an existing repository of source code that teams will want to move in some capacity into Team Foundation Server so they can continue software development from there.
That team may be using the latest version of Microsoft Visual SourceSafe (VSS) only to find themselves in an unsupported scenario since July 2012, which was when Microsoft discontinued mainstream support for Visual SourceSafe 2005. The team's goal may be to move to a new version control system, such as Team Foundation Server or Visual Studio Online, so that they can receive support if they are in a situation where they might need it in the future. They may also be using one of the other available version control systems—either commercial or open source.
