Abstract:
The expanding potential of stem cell technologies is promising to revolutionize the field of regenerative medicine. Otology is no exception, and ongoing research from laboratories around the globe is aiming to deliver a stem cell-based therapy for hearing impairment. For this to happen, is important to identify a suitable candidate cell with the potential to differentiate into the required cell lineages.
