I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Now that you’ve developed relationships in the community, it’s time to shift your focus to communication. Information is abundant in an open source project. The difficulty is that it’s often unorganized and hard to find. This is where you can make a big difference and provide a huge benefit to the whole community.

Problem: You’re not sure what’s going on in the community.
To communicate information, you first have to know it. People will sometimes come and tell you what’s going on in their part of the community. But mostly, you’ll need to find things out for yourself.
