Chapter 4. A Simple Weather Station with Arduino and LabVIEW

In this chapter, we will build a simple weather-measurement station based on Arduino, which will be monitored from LabVIEW.

We will connect a temperature sensor to the Arduino board as well as a light-level sensor. We will connect both of these sensors to the LabVIEW interface so that we can get the measurements from them in real time. Finally, we will use the indicators available in LabVIEW to build a nice graphical interface for the weather-measurement station.

Hardware and software requirements

On the hardware side, you will first need an Arduino Uno board.
