Find-and-Replace Shortcut Keys

Shortcut	Menu equivalent	Action
Ctrl-F	Edit → Find and Replace → Quick Find	Opens the Quick Find window.
Shift-F12		Finds all references to the symbol the cursor is currently on and returns them in a results window.
Ctrl-Shift-F	Edit → Find and Replace → Find in Files	Opens the Find in Files window.
F3		Highlights the next instance of the text being searched for.
Ctrl-F3		Highlights the next instance of the text being searched for within the currently selected text.
Shift-F3		Highlights the previous instance of the text being searched for.
Ctrl-Shift-F3		Highlights the previous instance of the text being searched for within the currently selected text.
Alt-F12	Edit → Find and Replace → Find Symbol	Opens the Find Symbol window.
Shift-Alt-F12		Finds all instances of the symbol the cursor is currently on and returns them in a results window.
Alt-F3, S		Stops the current search.
Ctrl-D		Focuses the cursor on the Find drop-down list in the Standard dialog.
F8		Moves the cursor to the next location in a Find Results window.
Shift-F8		Moves the cursor to the previous location in a Find Results window.
Ctrl-H	Edit → Find and Replace → Quick Replace	Opens the Quick Replace window.
Ctrl-Shift-H	Edit → Find and Replace → Replace in Files	Opens the Replace in Files window.
Ctrl-Alt-F12	View → Find Results → Find Symbol Results	Opens the Find Symbol Results window.
Ctrl-I	Edit → Advanced → Incremental Search	Starts an incremental search looking down the page.
