SetLocale
Synopsis
SetLocale(newlocale
)
Changes the current locale used by ColdFusion to
newlocale
for the duration of the current
page request. The server’s locale determines how
ColdFusion treats and displays numeric, currency, date, and time
values. Returns the old locale so that it can be used again if
necessary. Valid entries for newlocale
are
determined by the underlying JRE and operating system of your
ColdFusion server. For a complete list of locales available on your
server, output the variable
server.Coldfusion.SupportedLocales
. In general,
ColdFusion supports the following locales. They may be referenced
with their ColdFusion locale name, or their equivalent Java locale
name where appropriate.
