With the Office Communicator Automation API, you can display information from Office Communicator for the local user and her or his contacts. This information includes information such as name, phone number, and presence.

The Messenger class has properties and methods to provide programmatic access to information about the local user signed in to Office Communicator. Use these properties to display information about the local user in your applications. The Messenger class also provides events to notify your application of changes to this information so you can keep information up to date in your application.
