Hosting Silverlight in Web Pages
A Silverlight page is centered on a XAML file. You can build this source file using two development tools—Expression Blend, Visual Studio 2008, or both. Mostly targeted to designers, Expression Blend allows you to create interactive user interfaces and media-rich experiences. With Visual Studio 2008, instead, developers can author XAML script by typing and make it even richer by adding both script and managed code.
