As the base infrastructure for channels matures, we’re seeing an acceleration of higher level libraries that take advantage of them. LiveView is the perfect example. In essence, it’s a library for building interactive, rich applications, that are bi-directional. That much is not new. Throughout the second half of this book, we’ve done very much the same thing with channels.
