Project costs are calculated using the planned and actual work values for resource assignments in your project. You can also set up budgets within your project using Project 2013 and then compare your budgeted costs with the planned and actual costs. This helps you to track how closely you’re sticking to your budget, so that you can determine the next steps, if necessary. You can also plan for and track overtime costs in your project using Project 2013.
