11. Using Standard Views, Tables, Filters, and Groups to Review Your Schedule

Views, tables, filters, and groups provide an efficient way to review your project information and display precisely the details you are looking for. Views are not reports, which are generally created for either end-users or analysis. Views in Project are used for data entry and modification, as well as analysis.

The previous chapters of the book discussed some view and table basics to define your project’s tasks and resources as well as to assign resources to tasks. This chapter explores in detail all other views you can utilize to efficiently review your project schedule and focus on the information you need.
