In the previous chapters, the theoretical base for project-based learning was established. This is the first of several chapters, with more emphasis on the implementation of projects in classroom situations. Projects, including educational projects, typically involve groups of people. However, a collection or group of people isn’t necessarily a team. For instance, when thinking in terms of a football or soccer team, what comes to mind is a group of people who are well-coordinated, guided by common goals, with an established leadership structure, and where team members know and have agreed upon their roles within the overall team.
