It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Often, in hindsight, projects can seem like best-selling author Lemony Snicket’s series of unfortunate events. It is the unexpected effect of a series of events that often derails even the most well-managed projects. Event chain methodology is a schedule network analysis technique that focuses on identifying, modeling, and managing the events that can affect a project schedule. Event chain methodology helps determine project duration, cost, and other parameters while taking into account these events and event chains. It also identifies critical risks and crucial tasks, performs resource leveling, and resolves other complex project scheduling problems.
