Human Resources

While examining your potential client's organizational structure be sure to drill a little more deeply into their human resource policies. The signs of a good organization include the communication of messages to employees regarding expected levels of integrity, ethical behavior, and competency. You should determine if the organization is committed to competency. Here are some signs to look for:

  • Are there defined minimum skill requirements for each particular job?
  • Do they have training and educational programs for professional development and quality assurance?
  • Do they ensure that the essential skill sets are provided to each function?
  • Do they provide for redundancy and depth in their labor plan?
