So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

At times it is necessary to expedite a project, accelerating development to reach an earlier completion date. The process of accelerating a project is referred to as crashing. Crashing a project directly relates to resource commitment. The more resources we are willing to expend, the faster we can push the project to its finish. The initial schedule may be too aggressive. Under this circumstance, we may schedule the project with a series of activity durations so condensed that they make the crashing process inevitable.
