One of us, Brad, served in a previous life as a navigator on a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker. That’s where he learned the importance of gauges. Here’s his story:
From day one at flight school our instructors pounded into our heads that relying on our senses to figure out what was going on with our aircraft was not an acceptable aviation practice.
