I am about to explain one of the fundamental concepts of project management. It is quite straightforward, but very useful and powerful. Spend a few minutes to make sure you understand this.
Imagine a very simple project – you are going to redecorate some rooms in your house. So you sit down and do some thinking about this decorating and decide that you will decorate your front room and your dining room, that you will use three coats of paint on every wall.
