ONE OF MY FAVORITE restaurants in the world is a place called A Taste of India. Eating there is an amazing experience. Let’s start with the building itself. It’s located in a yellow and white house on the corner of a busy, one-way thoroughfare, but once you step inside, you’re magically transported to another place. Colorful, mirrored tapestries cover the walls, delicious smells drift from the kitchen, and there’s always the soothing sound of Indian music playing in the background. If there’s any sort of line, which there often is at this popular spot, you’re given a free cup of the most incredible chai tea you have ever tasted.
