ONE THING SEATTLE IS known for is its coffee, but there’s an innovative partnership happening around another “bean” in the city: the cocoa bean. The Chocolate Box is a retailer celebrating and selling goods from unique chocolatiers around the world. In addition to offering sipping chocolates and vegan sweets, the owners teamed up with some of Seattle’s most famous chocolatiers to create a unique experience for customers called the Tour de Chocolat.
With The Chocolate Box at the wheel, chocoholics boarded a luxury van and began a cross-city tour of three different chocolate shops. The first stop was a chocolate factory tour at Theo Chocolates, the country’s only bean-to-bar organic and fair trade chocolate factory. ...
