Chapter 13. Concretes with particular properties
This chapter deals with several types of concretes which can be used when particular properties are required. The term ‘particular’ does not imply anything unusual or rarely required; rather, it refers to specific properties which are desirable under the given circumstances. Several types of concretes will be considered. First, concretes containing the different cementitious materials which are frequently used nowadays (discussed in Chapter 2).
