So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This chapter will give an overview of Puppet Enterprise, what it is, and what it provides compared to Open Source Puppet. Although the author of this book is a Puppet employee, this is not intended as a hard sell but to present where and how to use Puppet Enterprise well. It will cover the extra Enterprise console services in the Puppet platform, showing how code deployment, orchestrator service, RBAC, web console, and various other services are automatically configured and work with each other.
