It’s time to #LoveLikeJo

It is 22 June 2016, one of the few balmy days this grey and cold summer in London. The only thing that is heated is the increasingly acrimonious campaigns for the UK to leave or remain in the EU, the so-called Brexit referendum that is scheduled for the following day.

We are many thousands of people gathered in Trafalgar Square for the memorial event for Jo Cox, who on this day would have turned 42 had she not been brutally murdered six days earlier by a man who shot and stabbed her as she was on her way to meet her local constituents in the library of Birstall, West Yorkshire.
