Strategy 3: Put Stress to Work

It’s 3:30 a.m. I’m in bed, but my heart is racing, my breath is rapid, and I’m filled with dread about facing an urgent partially done presentation. It’s for a potential long-term client, and I want to knock it out of the park. I need to finish one section today, and I still need to catch up on the three sections I was supposed to do earlier this week. But waking up at 3:30 a.m. will make it difficult to be productive because I’m already feeling exhausted. I want to go back to sleep, but my past sleep experiences make that seem unlikely.
