I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The flyweight pattern
The flyweight pattern is a memory optimization pattern. Novice Python programmers tend to ignore memory optimization, assuming the built-in garbage collector will take care of them. This is often perfectly acceptable, but when developing larger applications with many related objects, paying attention to memory concerns can have a huge payoff.
The flyweight pattern basically ensures that objects that share a state can use the same memory for that shared state. It is often implemented only after a program has demonstrated memory problems.
