Before getting into the details of how to use QLab 4 to create a design, it is important to understand the basics of the software, from installation to setup. This chapter addresses all of those preliminary considerations before jumping into how the software functions. For this chapter, we work from the assumption that this is your first time to use QLab 4.

2.1 — QLab 4 System Recommendations

The question I most often get asked when teaching QLab is invariably, “Can I run QLab on my PC?” The simple answer is, no.
