It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
13. The Larger Picture: QFD and Its Relationship to the Product Development Cycle
This chapter examines QFD from the perspective of organizations that develop products and services. These organizations struggle with development issues all the time, and they have developed strategies for dealing with those issues.
Those strategies include creating phased development models; acquiring various development tools, including CAD/CAM hardware and software; and making use of various budgeting and project-management tools. Despite these attempts at improving their processes, anyone working within one of these organizations knows that more can be done.
