I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
19. Beyond the House of Quality
What happens beyond the House of Quality depends upon many things, and in today’s Lean Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) environments, there are even more options than there were when QFD originally gained popularity.
Most organizations that use QFD stop after developing their customized versions of the HOQ. In some cases, groups extend their analysis to an additional matrix, in which performance measures from the HOQ matrix are deployed against features of a product or service. In a very few cases, organizations have gone further, even as far as constructing matrices or tables that describe shop-floor processes and machine settings.
